Sandra Coan @sandracoan chats with Jasser about her evolution from a kindergarten teacher to photographer to teaching photography. Also she talks about how she wrestled to transition from film to digital and back as well as her transition from shooting weddings to families and newborns and her success in doing so.
BIO: I’m an award winning maternity, newborn and family photographer based in Seattle, WA. I shoot film in studio with an emphasis on natural newborn images… no posing or props (which is unusual in my field). I’m also the co-founder and editor of Little Bellows, an online community that focuses on the art and business of film photography. And I’m an educator, teaching film and business through online and in-person workshops, one-on-one mentoring and at industry conferences (Click Away San Antonio in 2015, and I’ll be speaking at Click Away Seattle in October of 2016)
