I’m a wedding, lifestyle and portrait photographer based in Vancouver, BC! People are what it’s all about for me! I can’t get enough of capturing moments and the character of the couples that I’m lucky to meet and photograph. I’m most excited about sharing people’s stories and connecting with them on a genuine level.

Just 1!? Oh goodness. I guess my Canon 5D Mark III. I love the image quality from this thing and shooting to two cards on a wedding day sets my OCD heart at ease. Lately I’ve shot in a lot of rain and it’s really held it’s own.
Tell us what your one must-have piece of software is and why:
I have to go with Lightroom on this one. It’s just so efficient and can do so much in one program. I do polish the portraits in photoshop but often these are just light touch-ups. I like the images to be as true to the moment as possible. I can tweak, tone, arrange, rename and size all in one place.
What’s your advice for someone just starting out?
That the only thing that matters is light! You can take a stunning picture in an empty gravel lot and a terrible photo at a manicured garden. Light needs to be understood for shots to work!
