Weddings stole my heart the moment I realized just how creative I could be with it all. For me, there is a completely limitless outcome and the fact of always growing has me beyond stoked. I’m a bit obsessed with chasing the stellar light while capturing true love and connection. I am based out of Kelowna in the Okanagan Valley and currently travelling world wide photographing one of the most beautiful things of all.. wedding day love.

I’d have to go with my 35mm 1.4 as I’d say 75% of my wedding days are shot with it! From start to finish it is just an absolute awesome prime. I love close up details with it yet is also amazing for wide landscape shots with the bride and groom. Definitely my go to.
Tell us what your one must-have piece of software is and why:
It’s going to be Lightroom itself. That was an absolute game changer for me when I started as a wedding photographer. In the early years, I was editing each photo individually in photoshop. Once I realized that I could do about 95% of what I needed to do in Lightroom in half the time, and achieve a goal of a WAY more consistent look, well I was sold!
What’s your advice for someone just starting out?
Find your style and run with it!
It is absolutely okay to sway from “Technically correct” and what others are doing, as intimidating as that is when starting out.
