Tell us what your one must-have piece of gear is and why:
For the last two years, I’ve been praising my 50mm f/ 1.4 as my go to piece of equipment. This year the title goes to Holdfast Gear’s leather MoneyMaker camera harness. Not only is it lightweight, comfortable and the best way to carry my cameras around all day, its sexy. It’s damn sexy.

Without Photo Mechanic, my workflow would come to a halt. It let’s me breeze through the culling portion of my editing. Time is something I really value.
What’s your advice for someone just starting out?
Pamper yourself. Weddings are physically draining, and when you are shooting 40-50 weddings per year, you need to take the time to treat yourself here and there. Go to the spa. Get a massage. See a chiropractor. Eating healthy and staying fit throughout the year helps too!
